The Liberal Democrat Graveney FOCUS team has called on Transport for London to make improvements to the road junction at Amen Corner. Residents have been complaining about traffic congestion, which causes delays to pedestrians and worries about safety. As a major road junction, this is the responsibility of Transport for London. Earlier this year there was a fatal accident on Southcroft Road nearby.

Team member Jeremy Ambache has followed this up with the Liberal Democrat team at the London Assembly. They have called on Transport for London to make improvements to the junction.

Jeremy said, "I have asked Transport for London to improve traffic flow and pedestrian access at the Amen Corner junction. In particular I have requested: more responsive lights on the pedestrian crossings, a safer location for the bus stop in Southcroft Road and clearer road marking to stop cars blocking the junction. Better provision for pedestrians means less frustration and more safety."
